"Higher Ways, Higher Wisdom…”
      He Holds Us Fast

            Abraham… Friend of God…
His obedience nearly led him to sacrifice his own son on a mountain. God saw his faith and provided a substitute: a ram, caught in the thicket. At the last minute, God provided. It was that journey of abandon, passion, obedience, and faith that allowed Abraham to rename that Mountain, “The Lord Provides.”
And Team Mongolia has been diligent. Sending out letters, hosting a  garage sale, going door to door. We have been led on in faith and obedience in deep places, praying: “Lord, not my will but Yours be done.” It comes down to this: Team Mongolia is nearly $14,000 from a nearing deadline. It’s nothing for our God. It’s a sneeze or a coin falling from His coin-bag… My Dad owns the cattle on a thousand hills, and he makes roads out of Gold. What is $14,000? Especially when His Bride get’s motivated!
Pray for us… for Team Mongolia. Consider also giving. We need the support of the Body of Christ to accomplish this work.

Team Budget: $28,572.00
Deadline - %75 by May 11th
Current: $8,091.00

Needed to reach %75 - $13,338.00

This week we Skyped with an Expatriate Mongolian Missionary! Here are some great things we learned about Mongolian Culture:

1.) If a Mongolian grabs your belt buckle and gives it a good firm shake, it’s only a symbol of friendship… not a test to measure the integrity of your belt.

            2.) Mitukgwe = “I don’t know”

3.) Golden Books are good gifts for kids… flour or sugar are great
            gifts for adults.

4.) ‘Airig’ is Fermented Mare’s Milk in a big bowl – one sips it,
then puts it down. I have been informed that if an American
drinks too much, there is a great chance of getting diarrhea.
            So… Cheers!

Blessings in Christ my Friends!
